What this site is, and is not

Valtage publishes the output of a stock-ranking algorithm. The algorithm reads public company filings, scores companies on five factor pillars, and ranks them. That output is information and research, not investment advice.

We are not a broker-dealer, not an investment adviser, and not a financial planner. Nothing here is a recommendation to buy or sell anything, and nothing here is tailored to your circumstances, goals or risk tolerance. Using the site creates no advisory or fiduciary relationship between us. Decisions you make with your money are yours, and you are responsible for them. Consider speaking to a licensed professional before investing.

Accuracy, and the limits of what we know

The algorithm reads filings companies submit to the SEC. Those filings can contain errors, get restated, or arrive late, and the algorithm knows nothing about anything a company hasn't filed yet. Prices and market data come from third-party providers, may be delayed, and may be wrong or unavailable.

Any performance figures shown are backtested: a simulation of how the algorithm would have ranked stocks in the past, not a record of real money invested. Backtests are not predictions. Past performance, simulated or real, does not indicate future results, and you can lose money investing in stocks.

Your account

You need an account for some features. Give accurate information, keep your password to yourself, and tell us promptly if you think someone else has access. Accounts are for one person, so don't share credentials. You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live.

Membership and payments

Some features are described as members-only. Membership is not open: nothing can be purchased on this site, no price has been set, and no launch date is promised. You may join a waitlist to be emailed if and when it opens. That is an announcement, not an order, and it commits neither of us to anything.

If membership does open, pricing, billing and refund terms will be presented before any payment is taken, and these terms will be updated first.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• scrape, crawl or bulk-download the site beyond ordinary reading, or work around rate limits and access controls;
• republish or resell the rankings, scores or data as your own product or service;
• attempt to access accounts, data or systems that aren't yours, or probe the site for vulnerabilities without permission;
• use the site in a way that breaks the law, or that degrades it for other people.

Our content

The site, its design, its written content and the algorithm behind it belong to Jihoo Ahn. You may read it, quote it with attribution, and use it for your own personal decisions. You may not copy it wholesale or build a competing product from it. Underlying company filings are public records and belong to nobody; market data belongs to the providers it comes from.

Availability and changes

The site is provided as-is and may be unavailable, incomplete, or discontinued at any time. Features can change or disappear. We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected in the date at the top, and continuing to use the site afterwards means accepting them.

Disclaimers and liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, the site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Jihoo Ahn is not liable for any investment losses, lost profits, or indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or reliance on anything published here. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain exclusions, in which case they don't apply to you.

Ending access

You can stop using the site and ask us to delete your account at any time (see the privacy policy). We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
